Warm Caps
These reversible warm caps were specially designed for charity gifting to certain people in Nepal. They are two layers thick, and have a gathered shaping to add even more warmth.
The caps are reversible, with one side worked in K1P1 ribbing. The other side is knitted in stockinette. The ribbing allows for fit on a wide variety of head sizes, from child up to adult.
Any combination of yarn that knits at a bulky weight works for these caps. For some I’ve used a worsted weight held together with two or three lace weight yarns. Others I’ve used two worsted weights held together.
You can try it on as you work to judge how long to make it!
Allow your creativity to run wild…use up your scrap yarn…
These caps are super-easy and quick to make.
Enjoy!
