Chain 2, hdc 10 into ring. join to first hdc. Slip stitch. 10 stitches
Chain 2.,2 hdc into each hdc. Repeat. Slip stitch. 20 stitches.
Chain 2. 2hdc in same. Join next color. one hdc in next. 2 hdc, 1 hdc. Repeat. 30 stitches. Slip stitch
Chain 2 2 hdc change color 1 hdc, 1hdc. Repeat. Slip stitch
chain 2, 1hdc, 1hdc, change color. Repeat. Slip stitch. At appropriate height, make a row of dc-keeping with the color changes.
Do front posts and back posts for the ribbing.
At the base, hdc into each post, but always treat it as a front post.
