If you love knitting brioche cables, you’ll enjoy this shawl made using worsted weight yarn, guaranteeing that you’ll be warm. The patch pockets ensure that the shawl will stay put on your shoulders. You can either make this shawl in a solid color, or coordinate the pockets and edging, as seem here

This shawl is made using a brioche stitch combined with a brioche cable, and a honeycomb brioche stitch (also known as a double brioche)

This pattern is both charted and written out line by line. There are also instructions for a simple crocheted edging, as well as a brioche Self Edge. You can choose between the two, as the brioche self edge may be new to some of you, and a bit difficult. However, it is worth learning as it gives a lovely finish to all brioche scarves, shawls, etc.

I have also included a “learning brioche” pattern with the downloads at no additional charge.

Skill Level: Intermediate + (assuming a good working knowledge of knitting, slipped stitches, and cabling, as well as some experience with brioche knitting).
