This shawl pattern is designed using two very unusual stitches: a highly textured stitch at the borders, and a cable with a drop stitch as a focal stitch. The cable stitch is both charted and written out line by line.

The shawl is made using worsted weight yarn, and hence is very warm. The pockets insure that your shawl stays on your shoulders.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of cable knitting).
