This crochet pattern makes a nice little winter beanie that you can add a pom to or leave plain.

This hat is worked in rounds from the top down. This pattern uses two strands of worsted weight yarn and a size K hook to make a hat that measures about 20 inches around, for an average adult woman. Use a single strand of yarn and a smaller hook to make a smaller hat or go up a hook size for a larger hat. I used Lion Brand Wool-Ease, which is 80% acrylic and 20% wool.
