This garment can be made in a heavier weight yarn which would be perfect for layering up or in a light yarn to give a light and airy summer cover up - the choice is yours.

This waiscoat/vest is designed to be made in any size, in any yarn - just follow the instructions to make it YOUR size. It is fully adaptable from small child to large adult.

You start by making the square for the back and adjust the size of the finished garment from there. Make it in one colour or a myriad of colours, it could be a good stash buster!

It’s difficult to give yarn quantities as obviously this will depend on the size made but I would estimate 300g to 400g of double knitting to make a child size and 500g to 600g for adult sizes.
