DESIGN NOTES
Warmthness! Knit this sweater plain, or add some texture and fun with the added rectangles - the choice is yours. This oversized drop-shoulder pullover is worked bottom-up, seamless in the round to the underarms, then the body is worked flat. The sleeves are worked in the round, then seamed to the body with mattress stitch. Shoulders are seamed with a visible three needle bind-off. To be worn with 6 inches/15 cm of positive ease. For a fun, avant-garde design option, this pattern includes instructions to knit rectangles that are seamed after the sweater has been knitted. Feel free to knit as many as you like and place them wherever you’d like (or leave the sweater plain!) Sample is shown with 24 optional rectangles. See video for rectangle knitting and seaming instructions.
