Warwick Castle Bell Socks
This sock pattern is for intermediate knitters, and includes a plain ankle high sock for practice with 40 grams of sport/DK weight yarn. The practice sock includes the heel flap of the featured sock, eye of partridge--which is a nice look and fit, still with a reinforced heel. The pattern for the practice sock is written for those who may not have done a sock before.
There is one embedded video with 662,000 views--of Kitchener stitch with tidy finish by master knitter and former judge, Suzanne Bryan.
It may appear so, but this is not a lace pattern.
Many thanks to test knitter heidstickar!
EDIT: March 7, 2022--the sock appears small but has a lot of stretch, the bell pattern expands. You can get an idea of fit early on, by putting over fist.
