A beautiful afghan that is inspired by the ocean!
You will need four different colors for this blanket.
I Love this Yarn
-Color A-Toasted Almond 2 skeins or 406 yards
--Color B-Arctic Blue 3 skeins or 852 yards
-Color C-Sea Blue 3 skeins or 933 yards
-Color D-Antique white 1 skein or 191 yards
Some Notes for creating the pattern:
● Chaining up at the beginning of the row counts as a stitch
● Be careful not to add an extra stitch within the ripple stitch sections
● Row 7 is worked as an X stitch by yo from behind both stitches and working the rest of the dc in front
● Rows 17-20 are a ripple stitch and all ripple stitches are worked on the WS
● The border corners are 5 double crochets in the middle stitch
● The border pattern is repeated over each other, meaning the shell look should be repeated over the first one
● Each color has its own set of stitches that are repeated throughout the pattern
● You can weave in the ends as you go with each color change or leave them to be stitched over by the border
