Wasko signifie ciel, air, firmament en Atikamekw, ce que les deux bases de laines m’ont inspirées, aussitôt que je les ai touché. Quand Mapi Créations m’a approché pour cette collaboration avec Julie Asselin et elle, je fut très emballée par le projet.

J’ai sorti de mes sentiers battues, mais quelle plaisir j’ai eu. J’ai crée un petit débardeur/cardigan, avec un petit rehausse col, pour que le vêtement s’ajuste bien à notre corps. Il est un peu cour et over size de sorte à pouvoir le porter seul, ou en survêtement, avec chemisier, t-shirt ou camisole. Il est parfait pour toutes les occasions, plus habillé avec une petite robe ajusté ou simplement avec un jean.

Le patron est écrit étape par étape , ainsi que des abréviations décrites et quelques tutos jumelés pour faciliter l’exécution du tricot.
J’ai travaillé avec la magnifique base Douillet de Julie Asselin ainsi que la superbe laine artistique filée exprès pour l’occasion par la talentueuse Mapi Créations

Wasko means sky, air, firmament in Atikamekw, which is what the two yarns bases inspired in me, as soon as I touched them. When Mapi Créations approached me for this collaboration with Julie Asselin and her, I was very excited about the project.

I went off the beaten track, but what a pleasure I had. I created a small tank top/cardigan, with a small collar extension, so that the garment fits well to our body. It is a little boxy and oversized so that it can be worn alone, or as a tracksuit, with a blouse, t-shirt or tank top. It’s perfect for any occasion, more dressy with a fitted little dress or just with jeans.

The pattern is written step by step, as well as described abbreviations and a few paired tutorials to facilitate the execution of the knitting.
I worked with the beautiful Douillet base of Julie Asselin as well as the superb artistic yarn spun especially for the occasion by the talented Mapi Créations
