Wasp Eye Shawl
This pattern was Knotty Lady Yarn’s pattern for the 2020 Slow Yarn Crawl PNW.
It originally started out as a way for me to knit up some of my hand spun yarn in my personal stash. I was looking for a stitch that had some texture that wouldn’t look too busy with a variegated or multi colored yarn.
After knitting my “prototype” with my hand spun yarn, I realized it needed more contrasting colors and needed more rows so I gave it just that! This pattern became a triangular shawl alternating sections of Wasp Nest Stitch repeats with a group of eyelet rows in two different colors. This is my first pattern I have attempted to write on my own, so if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me on Ravelry.
Please note that the original pattern had some errors in it. Be sure to download the Errata for the corrections!
