WASTELAND Aviator Hat
This is a Pattern aka a digital download not a finished item please do not purchase if you don’t know what a pattern is. Digital items are non refundable.
This Hat PATTERN includes 4 sizes & 2 patch options. It’s a lot of fun to make because you can express your personal style. For example; Add any design you want to the “ears” and add your favorite word to the back strap.
With this as well as with all my patterns: The pattern itself is for the purchaser ONLY. Please do not share the pattern or included pictures. Please do not change portions of it and resell the pattern.
Feel free to sell the finished product
Pattern is rated: Intermediate or confident beginner.
Most of the Hat is worked double stranded
Gauge for Hood: Double stranded with K (6.5mm) 5sts, 4rows= 2”
Materials you will need:
The yarn needs to be the same thickness as Caron One Pound or Red Heart Super Saver. I prefer to use Caron One Pound because it’s a “sturdy” yarn and holds the shape well. Red Heart Super Saver is also good. I don’t suggest using I Love This Yarn because it doesn’t hold the shape well.
Adult sizes Main Color: Worsted Weight(4), Caron One Pound, Evergreen= 370-400yds
Adult- Adult/Teen 2nd Color: Worsted Weight(4), Caron One Pound, Taupe= 25-78yds
Child sizes Main Color: Worsted Weight(4), Red Heart Super Saver, Pretty ‘N Pink= 265-310yds
Child sizes 2nd Color: Worsted Weight(4), Caron One Pound, Black= 60yds
