Watayuki is an oversized pullover worked seamlessly from the top down, featuring diagonal front lines with a flattering effect, and a split hem, longer and wider in back than front.
The neckline is shaped with German short rows and the yoke is shaped with raglan increases.
Back and front hems are worked separately back and forth.

GEEK is fluffy and light for a yarn of this category. Note that other bulky weight yarns may require more yardage.

NEEDLES
Body
- 6 mm (US 10) circs, 40-60 cm / 16-24″ and 80 cm / 32″ long
- Two 5.5 mm (US 9) circs, 60 cm / 24″ or longer OR one 80 cm / 32″ or longer
Sleeves
- 6 mm (US 10) and 5.5 mm (US 9) circs or dpns for working small circumference in the round
Neck band
-5.5 mm (US 9) circ, 40-60 cm / 16-24″ long
Adjust needle size to obtain gauge.

NOTIONS
4 stitch markers, waste yarn, tapestry needle, row counter and/or removable markers (recommended), cable needle (as needed)

GAUGE
13 sts and 19 rnds = 10 cm / 4″ in Stockinette st on 6 mm (US 10) needle after blocking.

LEVEL

すっきりとした印象にする、斜めになった前身頃のラインと、前後で幅と長さの異なるスリット入りの裾がポイントです。
ドイツ式の引き返し編みでネックラインを整え、ヨークはラグラン線で増やしていきます。裾は、前後別々に往復編みします。
