“Look at me!” only works when your face isn’t hidden by your phone. “Watch the Birdie”!“ works when the CSM knitted Birdie adorns your cell phone and provides a fun place to look.

The Birdie is knitted on your CSM (Circular Sock Machine) using a small amount of sock yarn. The sample was knitted on a 60 needle cylinder, but other gauges would work as the fit comes from the elastic hair band.
It is a good use for sock knitting left overs. Birds can be lots of different colors…the more colors used, the cuter the Birdie will be. Off the machine embellish and close live stitches over an elastic hair band.

Function: The cell phone is still fully functional in picture taking mode as the Birdie band sits just above the shutter button and out of the way of the screen image.
