Polka dot repeats add playful texture to this triangular shawl, making it quite fun to knit. The centres of the circles are accentuated by Navajo knitting, which adds a touch of challenge — but this is approachable enough, and the photo tutorial will guide you through the technique step-by-step.

Worked from the flat tip up to the longest edge, the shawl size can be adjusted by adding or omitting pattern repeats. Strands of the sumptuous pure wool ITO Shio are held together with the linen-cotton blend ITO Asa for a gorgeous marled effect. Or, substitute both yarns with a heavy lace weight or a light fingering weight yarn. (Plan for 1000 meters/1094 yards if so.)

Punkte setzen verspielte Akzente auf diesem symmetrischen Dreiecktuch. Die Punkte werden in der Mitte mit der Navajo-Technik verstärkt, wodurch das Stricken eine kleine Herausforderung beinhaltet. Ein Fototutorial erläutert das Vorgehen, sodass auch Navajo-Neulinge das Muster bewältigen können.

Gestrickt wird von der flachen Spitze zur oberen Abkettkante hin, auf diese Weise kann die Tuchgröße über die Anzahl gestrickter Rapporte angepasst werden. Beim Stricken werden das reine Wollgarn ITO Shio und das Leinen-Baumwoll-Gemisch ITO Asa zusammen verstrickt, wodurch eine spannende Maserung entsteht. Beide Garne können mit einem dickeren Lacegarn oder leichterem Sockengarn ersetzt werden. In diesem Fall sollten etwa tausend Meter eingeplant werden.
