Portland is a city of hills and water. It rains far more than seems possible some days, but that means we are surrounded by lush vegetation, so that’s ok by me. Water Avenue runs along the Willamette River, and driving along it on a lazy weekend afternoon reminds you just how much you don’t mind the rains of Portland, as you drink in the beauty of the river and Waterfront Park. This cowl is an homage to the uneven topography and very damp climate of my lush and lovely home.

Yarn
approximately 200 (400) yards total fingering-weight yarn. I used Blue Moon Fiber Arts Yaski Fingering in Shoqua (blue version) and Socks that Rock Lightweight in Mad as a March Hare (multicolored version).

Finished measurements
6” wide, 30 (53.5)“ long.
