This pattern includes the instructions for all 3 bomb styles: Small, Large, & Disc. Small Bomb should measure approx. 4” tall by 2.5” wide at the center. Large Bomb should measure approx. 5” tall by 3” wide. Disc bomb should measure approx. 4.5” across. Simply soak these guys in water and throw them at your loved ones for a nice refreshing splat!

I created these handy little alternatives to water balloons about 4 years ago after the fo-waterballoons from blanket yarn craze began. I managed to make about 3 of the crocheted balloons before realizing there was no way I would be making a profit selling them in my small community. I tried multiple different versions before finally coming up with these quick, cost effective, alternatives. After LOTS of testing by my own kiddos, customers, & cousins I have finally typed up the pattern to release to you all.

Bernat Baby Blanket Yarn(approx. Small-10yds, Large-15yds, Disc-20yds)
I(Boye 5.25mm) Hook
Scissors
Needle

Abbreviations(US Terms):
sts = Stitches
