Cart-wheels, leaps, and grace on a cool day – my daughter has boundless energy, but also a lovely sense of style and poise. She was my inspiration for this cropped sweater, which incorporates cabling into a wide-necked yoke and finishes with a silk ribbon.

The sweater’s arms are worked on double-pointed needles and then joined with the body on a circular needle in such a manner that the cable pattern combines seamlessly.
