NOTE - this pattern is free on the blog, but an ad-free PDF is also available in the Ravelry Shop for $5. Also, the cover page has a different name (Popcorn and Picots Cowl), but it is the same pattern. :)
This is a very quick and simple pattern for a cowl with popcorn detailing and picot edging. I used Darn Good Yarn’s Worsted Silk Roving Yarn, but any size 4 yarn of your choice can also be used.
MATERIALS
1 skein of Darn Good Yarn Silk Roving Yarn in Watercolors (75 yards)
Size US I9/5.5mm Crochet Hook.
Tapestry needle (for weaving in ends).
Optional: Yarn ball winder if you receive a hank of yarn
Difficulty: Easy
Finished Size: 13.5 x 5 inches
Gauge: Not important
STITCH GUIDE
ch(s) – chain(s), sc – single crochet, dc – double crochet, st(s) – stitch(es), rep – repeat, sl st – slip stitch, pop - popcorn, p - picot
NOTES
Ch 3 at beginning of row counts as dc.
This cowl is worked in rows, and the ends are slip stitched together to form the cowl.
Instructions within parentheses ( ) take place in the same stitch.
