Drawing inspiration from traditional cut crystal, the Waterford Shawl is a modified crescent shape design that sports three diamond cut panels, one on each shoulder and a broader panel flowing down the back. Beautiful yarn and a fairly easy design come together to make this your new “go to” shawl pattern!
Finished Size: 18” top of neck to bottom, 62” across top edge blocked
Gauge: 5.5 sts/1” in Stockinette Stitch on larger needles, blocked
Needles: US 5 in any length and US 6 40” circular or size to obtain gauge
Hooks: Crochet Hook Size C / 3.0 mm (for bind off)
Materials: Shown in Mountain Colors’ Twizzlefoot (53% Superwash Wool / 17 % Domestic Wool / 17% Silk / 13% Nylon: 450yds/100g)
Yardage: 790 yards (2 skeins)
Notions: Stitch Markers (6)
Skill Level: Intermediate
Errata: If you downloaded this pattern before June 3, 2016 there is errata: On Row 21: The 20th and 34th stitch should be a knit stitch, not a skp.
