Waterloo Shawl
Discontinued. This digital pattern is no longer available online.
As always in my pattern designs, I hope to introduce the knitter to a new technique with instructions clear enough for the person using the technique for the first time. This time that technique is the slipped stitch sections of the shawl. There are no charts, as there is no lace in this pattern.
This shawl begins at the bottom and after the slipped stitch design is completed the decrease section is worked.
Because I like seed stitch edges for my shawls I designed a way to keep the edge going around the neck and bind off in a unique way. This bind off ends with just a few stitches grafted together using the kitchener stitch, it is called Leedra’s Edge and Bind Off.
