Watermelon Applique
A free version is also available.
Crochet watermelon slice applique! This watermelon slice is about 10 inches wide but it’s easy to make a custom size, by just making more, or fewer rows.
I used “Lippy“ from Loops & Threads for the pink part of the melon; “White” from Red Heart Super Saver in between the pink part and the rind; “Spring Green” from Red Heart Super Saver for the light green part of the rind; “Paddy Green” from Red Heart Super Saver for the darker green part of the rind; and “Black” from Red Heart Super Saver for the seeds. I used far less than the whole ball for this project, so it’s a great one for using up scraps.
