Create a summertime Watermelon Chalk Bag from the bottom up! These bags also make great dog treat pouches or small cinched purses. The top edge folds over to hold the adjustable cinch cord in place. I prefer to knit them in a magic loop, but you could also use double-pointed needles. This pattern is for a standard-size climbing chalk bag (around 7 inches high and 5 inches in diameter).
