Dua the watermelon doll is our newest free crochet doll in our Kozu Palm Pals series! This pattern comes with a watermelon dress and two hair buns.
The pattern was made using DK yarn and a 2.5mm hook but can be made with any yarn and the relevant hook. It takes just a couple of hours to crochet. The clothes are removable and you can find additional clothes for the doll at https://chaicoffeecrochet.com/small-dress-up-crochet-dolls/
Dua means prayer. She was inspired by the children of Gaza – children like Hind Rajab, Reem, Sidra, and countless others – the beautiful souls who we have lost in Israel’s brutal genocide and those who continue to live under the indiscriminate bombing and brutal seige.
While this pattern is free on our blog, all proceeds from the sale of this watermelon crochet doll pattern in our Ravelry store will be donated to an organization providing humanitarian relief in Gaza.
This listing is for the ads-free print friendly PDF pattern. You can find the free pattern on the blog at https://chaicoffeecrochet.com/watermelon-crochet-doll/
