Who says practical has to be boring? This watermelon drawstring bag is multipurpose and a bright accessory. It can be used as a wristlet, a phone sock, cosmetic bag, or, because of COVID, as a wash bag for your face covering- simply put your mask in the bag once you’ve been out, so you can store it safely in your handbag/car until you get home. Then just pop the bag with the mask inside straight in the wash.

The pattern is 3 pages long and includes colour photographs of the finished bag. If using the suggested yarn and hook, it measures 12cmx16cm when open. It’s got a couple of tricky sections with the seeds/pips but should be suitable for confident beginners or intermediate crocheters.

For this pattern, you will need:
Yarn: DK Weight yarn in green, pink, white and black
Hook: 4mm
Tapestry needle
Scissors
Stitch marker
