This summery, watermelon mug rug is quick and easy to work up. It requires minimal yarn and some embroidery thread. Use either a 4.5 mm or 5 mm hook to get the size you want!

You’ll need about 50 yds of sage green and 100 yds of rosey II to complete this project. You’ll also need 1 strand of black embroidery thread and a sewing needle.

Pick your favorite way to make fringe as well to add a fun summery flair to it.
