Crochet a watermelon slice with a big juicy bite out of it. Do it in patriotic colors for a fun twist on summer’s favorite fruit. String several slices together for a bunting or use as hot pads at a summer BBQ.

Pattern works up quickly and is easy enough for a beginner. Everyone’s tension is different, adjust accordingly. I used a G hook and my melon measures 8” x 4”.
