Watermelon sugar top
The Watermelon sugar top is a stockinette top knitted top down to make the length easy to customize. First the back and front piece are knitted separately to be attached under the arms. After the back and front are joined together the top is knitted in the round.
Stitches are slipped to create a beautiful hem around the armhole. And both the cast-on and bind-off edges are kept raw to be used as an accent.
When you have finished the body you stitch the shoulders together.
This pattern is using simple techniques to make it manageable for knitters with different experience. You will need to know how to cast-on using a long tail cast on, knit and purl stitch as well as M1L and M1R.
Difficulty: 2/5
