The Pacific Northwest has many great places for walking and hiking in the woods and near water. Watmough Head is one of those beautiful parks that I love to visit and this beanie does a terrific job of keeping my ears warm in the forest. The beanie is fashioned in comfy DK weight yarn in two sizes (fit or slouchy). It is knit in the round from the bottom up with stranded colorwork that gives the hat its patterned brim.

Yarn: 360 yds DK weight yarn.
Suggested yarn: 280 yds Knitted Wit Victory DK (MC) in Ghostly or similar DK weight yarn
40 yds Knitted Wit Double Bubble (CC1) in Azure or similar DK weight yarn
40 yds Knitted Wit Double Bubble (CC2) in Cedar or similar DK weight yarn
Needles:

US 6 / 4.0 mm 16 inch circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge.
