While wandering around in the mountains during weekends, I couldn’t take my eyes out of the wave-like movements of Miscanthus -- the former one bent down and bounced right after the breeze blew across as the latter one bent in the meantime. The staggered movements are so rhythmic. It struck me an idea at the moment whether it would be possible to make people feel the same way, as I adopt the wave-like movements of Miscanthus into my work. Would the patterns be so rhythmic as well?

Wave is working in round, begin and end with 2x2 rib stitch border. The main body features slip stitch techniques, which not only make color work easier but also create a soft and fun texture. Knit with a single strand of light fingering yarn and 3mm needles. Wave is a light but warm garment which you can wear around all day.

波浪，是 2021 脖圍團織系列的第二個作品。

假日散步時，看著被山風吹拂過的芒草叢，先被吹到的，會先彎下去，但是在後面被風吹到的芒草彎下去時，前面的就彈了起來，形成像波浪般的錯落律動感。那時很好奇，如果將這個概念用到編織，會不會也有波浪的感覺呢 ? 是不是可以像芒草叢一樣，先織到的針目，會低下去，後織的會高起來 ? 經過了幾次測試，有了波浪的圖樣。

主體以單股細線與 3mm 棒針圈織，波浪運用滑針技巧做出配色，因此一次只需要操作一個顏色。示範作品使用由美麗諾與天然棉混紡的牧場編織，線材輕盈細緻的質地，讓波浪成品輕巧溫暖，無論製作中或是完成，都是方便隨時攜帶的作品。織圖提供 2 個不同的尺寸 長 ( 短 )，選取喜歡的顏色，一起來編織波浪脖圍吧！
