Wave Length
The Wave Length Scarf is knit flat in garter stitch while working a simple color work motif. Floats appear on both sides of this unique, reversible Stranded Garter Stitch fabric that features both color and textural interest. Simple increases and decrees along one edge create waves that gradually grow to the center and then tapper back in a mirror image. No matter how you wear it - hanging straight, appreciating every inch of the undulating wave or looped around your neck like a petaled cowl, this piece is both interesting to knit and fun to wear.
Best to use highly contrasting colors to truly appreciate the color work. Instructions are also included to add an optional crocheted edging along the wave edge.
Special Thanks to Wayne Nagy for test knitting and modeling, Jennifer Riester for technical editing and Ann Marie Elaban for page design.
