Wave Rick Rack Lace Shawl
This pattern is written for machine knitting especially on Passap/Pfaff Machines like the E6000, Duomatic 80 and Pink Duomatic
No programming (E6000) necessary.
It incorporates the following techniques:
double bed knitting
racking
lace (without extra equipment)
There are no additional tools needed, but some may prefer to use a cast on comb and weights.
There is no specific size given. The length and width of the shawl/wrap can be adjusted as you wish.
I won’t suggest a special yarn because it can be knitted with a wide variety of yarns:
If you want to use a very fine yarn it will be a delicate lightweight lace pattern. The thicker the yarn, the more it adds a wavy, plissé like three dimensional texture.
I always suggest to do a quick swatch to adjust the stitch size and calculate the size of the shawl.
This pattern has no instructions for hand knitting.
