Waved Wrap
The Waved Wrap is scrunchy and reversible. It features a gathering or scrunch stitch that is more concentrated on each end of the shawl. The gathering stitch gives this shawl a scrunchy, textured look. The shawl gradually gets wider, and the gathering stitch less concentrated as you move towards the center. The scrunch stitch is worked by picking up stitches with a cable needle reverse stockinette side of the piece 6 rows below the current row, and knitting those stitches together with the stitches on the circular needle. A stockinette stitch rolled edging frames the entire shawl. The edging is worked as one piece with the shawl.
