Wavelengths Wrap
Inspired by the ocean, the ripple texture and the irregularity of the ocean waves crashing upon the shore, this asymmetrical wrap (or shawl) continuously transitions through texture, lace and color.
Each section is a little different from the next & the last.
The finished wing span (post wet blocking) measures an approx. length of 70”/ 178 cm with a center drop measurement of approx. 20” / 51cm
Notes about the pattern
Part I of the wrap is knit holding a single strand of fingering weight.
Part II of the wrap is knit holding 2 strands together throughout.
Part I of the wrap you are working the “right” and “wrong” sides of the piece for 2 rows before turning your work (with the exception of one section where it is noted to turn work after each row)
At the end of Row 1 per side you will need to slide the stitches back to the right end of the needle to work Row 2 on the same side.
