The wavelets cowl cable-look is made using just knit and purl, in super chunky. No need for buttonholes either - the big stitches allow you to poke your buttons through wherever you’d like.

This pattern is easy to upsize - get yourself some extra wool and keep working the same pattern until it’s as long as you like for a double (or triple!) loop.

Skills needed:
This pattern is knit flat on two needles. You will need to be able to: cast on, knit, purl, and cast off.

Yarn: Cygnet Seriously Chunky 100% acrylic: 2 balls
Needles: 9mm / US 13 needles
Notions: 3 buttons
Gauge: 9 sts and 12 rows per 4in/10cm in pattern after blocking
Finished Dimensions: 8.5in/21.5cm tall x 28in/71cm long
