These socks combine an easy textured stitch with contrasting color stripes and a short row heel. Use two contrasting yarns for a better result, and don’t be afraid of using skeins with crazy colors, this pattern is perfect for those rainbow yarns with lots of color changes and speckles!

SIZES AND MEASUREMENTS


Size 1 (56 stitches), size 2 (64 stitches), size 3 (72 stitches).

Size 1 - 16 cm of circumference.
Size 2 - 18 cm of circumference.
Size 3 - 20 cm of circumference.

The measurements of the sizes correspond to an unstretched sock.

GAUGE

8,5 stitches and 12,5 rows per inch in stockinette stitch using 2.5mm needles.

Gauge is not crucial for this project and can be used to adjust the pattern to your liking.

MATERIALS

• 1 Sock Kit by Yarnitas (400m/100g Organic Merino + 80m/20g Merino), or the equivalent weight of any sock yarn. Color is “Postiguet” limited edition for the Shifting Seasons Sock Club 2023.

• Short circular knitting needles for knitting socks, or double pointed needles size 2.5mm. You can also use a long circular needle and the magic loop method if you prefer.

La cantidad necesaria de metros en color contraste variará dependiendo de la talla y el largo de los calcetines que tejas, tenlo en cuenta a la hora de calcular los metros necesarios.

• Agujas circulares de 2.5mm para calcetines, o agujas de doble punta. También puedes usar una aguja circular con el cable lo suficientemente largo como para hacer magic loop.
