Waves
Waves is a top-down sock pattern using cables to add a slight wavy pattern in self-striping sock yarn without having to make complicated stitches. The decreases for the foot are placed differently to give the sock a better fit and to reduce stretching in the cable pattern. Because cables make a firmer fabric, these socks hold their shape and hug nicely to your leg and foot. If you prefer to have a stockinette foot without cabling to interfere with wear in your shoes, I‘ve written the modifications to allow for that.
During the Tour de Fleece I’m giving away a pattern for any fiber bought in Nicole C Méndez’s store linked here.
Size L, for a larger man’s foot, and a toe-up version are in the works and will be added to the file as soon as they are tested and ready. Until then use the discount code SUMMER for a 20% discount on the price of the pattern.
