This is designed as a chemo hat. It features a scallop cast on (directions for this cast on are included in the pattern explanation). The pink hat is done in Juniper Moon Farm Sabine which is 40% cotton while the tan hat is knit in superwash wool. Both of these are soft and pliable yarns suitable for chemo patients. However, the hats are adaptable for regular use.
