Notes from the Designer:
This pattern resembles crashing waves, washed up seashells, and beautiful ocean-like colors. Imagine strolling along a quiet beach or boardwalk, the steady crushing of the waves rolling in and receding, seagulls puttering about on the sand and soaring overhead, a warm breeze on your skin, and you come across an adorable fruit and veggie stand. That’s how I’d like this bag to make you feel. Peaceful, relaxed, and ready to shop the farmer’s markets in style! The pattern will keep you entertained with its various rows, but is easily memorized because it’s created with just a six-row repeat. Enjoy!
- We’ll be working two rows with each color. As you finish using each color, let the yarn drop, but don’t cut it. Pick up your next color, and continue crocheting. You’ll pick up the yarn you dropped when it comes time to use that color again by simply pulling it up the side of the work.
- The side “loops” will be hidden at the end. Be sure to allow the yarn to loosely flow up the sides, rather than pulling it too tightly and risk your edge scrunching up.
