Hook size 6mm (H8) - this is a guide only
Drops Big Merino 380 gr (8 balls, 50 gr each)
50gr ball length is 75 meters
Size of the blanket: 60cm by 76cm
(23.6 by 29.9 inches)
Slst = slip stitch
Sc = single crochet
chst = chain stitch
dc = double crochet
RS = right side
WS = wrong side
Notes for the pattern:
Note 1: If you decide to crochet a different number of figures, you need to allow 17 stitches for one wave and add 3 stitches at the end. For example, if you would like to have 5 repeats, then multiply 17 times 5, which gives 85 stitches. To these 85 stitches, you need to add 3 more which brings you to chain of 88
Note 2: When working on a row with double crochet the very first chain does not count as a stitch. That means you start the row by chain 1 or 2 (whichever seems better and does not pull the side – I did ch1 but with thinner yarn you may need ch2). After that chain you will work the very first double crochet in the very first stitch. I crochet this way to avoid gaps at the start of the rows
