Waves beach sweater
This sweater is worked top-down in the round using a combination of knit and purl rounds in the yoke to create ridges. After the sleeves are separated the body is done in colorwork, using three shades of blue and one bright contrast color.
You will need five different colors of yarn; three blue (10% each except darkest blue that is 30%), one for the yoke (40%) and one bright contrast color for the wave shapes (10%).
The intended bust ease is fitted (up to 2 cm /1 inch of ease, variation is due to colorwork) and intended body length 53 cm/ 21 inches.
Material: circular needles and DPNs (DPNs are used for sleeve ribbing only), markers and scrap yarn to hold sleeves when working the body.
