This pattern has a bit of lace with yarn overs that create a wave-like pattern. This is an adult size mitt for a women’s medium size. You could get a bit bigger size by increasing the needle. This would be a great pattern to use some variegated, ocean colored yarn.

You really don’t need much yarn for this pattern, I used about 25 grams, you could easily get a couple pair out of one skein of yarn. (maybe a good gift knit?)

I love a good pair of fingerless mitts, either to wear inside during the winter, or to wear outside in the morning or evening, in the mountains.

These mitts have a “beachy” vibe with the Seafoam stitch pattern AND the colorway. They would be perfect to wear on vacation, or to knit on vacation!
