This design was inspired by the softness and lightness of the yarn. For that reason I decided to use lace patterns to enhance the “open” and airy effect. The central panel creates movement thanks to the particular wavy pattern from Barbara G. Walker book “A Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns”.

Nel disegnare questa stola mi sono lasciata ispirare dalla leggerezza e sofficità del filato. Per questo motivo ho scelto dei punti traforati in modo da ottenere una lavorazione “aperta” e dare un senso di ulteriore leggerezza. Nel pannello centrale ho introdotto un motivo ondulato (tratto da “A Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns” di Barbara G. Walker) per creare invece un effetto di movimento.
