Waves Slouch Hat
I love the loose slouch of this hat. Knit in a pattern of repeating waves, this hat can be made smaller or bigger by using a heavier or a lighter yarn. I have used Berocco Boboli – which resulted in a large size hat, and Misti Alpaca Worsted – which resulted in a small size hat. I think if I made it again, I would use a size 5 and 7 for the smaller hat for a tighter knit fabric.
Materials:
1 skein Berocco Boboli or 1 skein Misti Alpaca Hand-Paint worsted (I used Inca Red) ~ Misti Alpaca shown in the photo ~
Size 6 16” circular needles. Size 8 16” circular needles. Size 8 dpns.
1 stitch marker
Darning needle.
