Wavesong Shawl
Wavesong is a triangular shawl, worked from the centre of the long edge to the point (the usual way!) and incorporates a great mix of stitches. It is highly textured, but includes lots of holes, too.
Wavesong is made up of four parts plus edging. Part 1 sets the stage (so to speak) and Part 2 is a section divider that is repeated three times throughout. Parts 3 and 4 can be swapped, or you could just repeat Part 3 a second time, or replace Part 3 with Part 4, and repeat that a second time.
Gauge is not crucial to this design, though you need to be aware that changing the yarn will mean a difference in the amount of yarn required.
I’d recommend this pattern for more advanced crocheters that can read a written pattern.
