Waving Leaves
Worked in Miss Babs Dulcinea, a decadent blend of merino,
cashmere, and silk, this elegant, asymmetrical shawl is perfect as
a gift, for a special occasion, or as a treat for to keep for yourself. An undulating pattern of leaves grows to a rippling border sparkling with beads.

Miss Babs Dulcinea (70% Merino Wool, 15% Cashmere, 15% Silk; 800 yd/4.2 oz (730m/120g) skeins) 1 skein, shown in Bankers Lamp.
Or 800 yards/730 meters of lace weight yarn.
Finished Measurements
Approximately 77 1/2”/197 cm wide measured along the top edge, by 29”/73.5 cm from top edge to deepest point.
Needles & Hooks
US 6 4 mm circular needle, 24”/60 cm, or 32”/91 cm, or size to obtain gauge.
Size 13/14 (.90mm) crochet hook for beading.
Gauge
Blocked: 19 Stitches and 24 Rows = 4”/10 cm square in stockinette stitch.
Unblocked: 21 Stitches and 32 Rows = 4”/10 cm square in stockinette stitch.
The 16 stitch by 32 row repeat of the Waving Leaves pattern = 2½” (6.5 cm) wide by 5¼” (13.5cm) high, blocked.
Gauge is not crucial for this project, but will affect yardage and finished size if different from above.
