Wavy Cuff Sock
This cuff down sock pattern begins with a subtle garter chevron that flows into a basic sock pattern. The sock instructions are designed for a first time sock knitter. The pattern takes you through the steps of sock knitting in a manner that you can knit a pair of socks by following the instructions even if you have never knit socks before.
Although the cuff portion of the pattern is charted it can be knit totally by the written instructions without using the chart.
The pattern is designed for a set of 5 double point needles, stitches on 4 needles and knit with the 5th needle. The pattern can easily be converted to knit with either magic loop or 9” circular needles.
The pattern includes links for the kitchener stitch and charts to be used for shoe to sock lengths.
The pattern is written for average and (large).
The pattern is designed to knit matching socks. I have seen the socks knit as a pair of opposites, if you knit your pair this way please adjust the yardage.
