Wavy Fern Infinity Scarf
Knit this beautiful lacy fern scarf with its delicate lace stitch featuring a bobble here and there, and its fun to work wavy edges. The pattern is easy to work, and is quite addicting—you just don’t want to put it down until you are finished with it! Make it shorter to wrap once around your neck or longer to wrap twice. It is a lovely addition to your lace wardrobe.
There is a chart as well as written directions to knit this fascinating infinity scarf.
Finished measurements are: blocked—60” (152cm) around, 6” (15cm) wide at its widest section.
Yarn: 274 yards/250m sport weight. Sample was knitted with 2 balls of Knitpicks Wool of the Andes sport weight yarn in color—Wonderland Heather; 100% Peruvian Highland Wool; 137yards/50 grams per ball. (Wool yarn is recommended for this project as it lays the pattern stitch out flat when blocked. Or if using acrylic yarn—steaming to block your scarf may be necessary).
Needles and Notions: 1 pair size 6(4.0mm) straight needles; scrap yarn in contrasting color to work provisional cast on; yarn needle to sew in ends.
