This is a very easy pattern to knit up fast. Directions are set for adult size but it would again be easy to adjust for a child. Knitted flat and fast.
(pattern revision)after working ribbing for 24 inches and before starting pattern #1 add back the 2 stithes that were decreased, before starting pattern #2 the ribbing.
