This hat was an experiment to see if I could work a lace pattern using the uknit stitch instead of true knit. And it worked! The Flexee Looms work wonderfully for lace stitching, as the pegs tend to “give” just enough to allow for movement of stitches, even if the stitches are tight.

This pattern has charted and written instructions, along with a photo tutorial for the crown decreasing section.

Basic stitches are used: uknit, purl, k2tog, yo, ssk.
